Using SOLIDWORKS PDM
A video course focusing on the fundamental skills and concepts central to using SOLIDWORKS PDM successfully.
SOLIDWORKS PDM is a data management (PDM) software solution that helps organizations manage and share product data more effectively and automate workflow to allow better collaboration from engineering to the shop floor. This results in better products, lower costs, and faster time to market.
The design intent of this course is to demonstrate the use of SOLIDWORKS PDM from a users perspective. The instructor will assume the role of a Manager or an Engineer who work for a fictitious company that makes a variety of LP and Charcoal grills. Training files are included in the event the student would like to set up a training vault and follow along, however, this is not necessary to learn the concepts of using SOLIDWORKS PDM. This training course is designed around a process or task based approach to training.
***The videos are recorded using 2018 versions of SOLIDWORKS and SOLIDWORKS PDM***
